| New patients meet with Dr. Thomas Carpenter for a thorough
examination to determine if their condition will respond to
chiropractic care. This exam consists of numerous, non-intrusive
tests as well as x-rays (if necessary) to determine the presence of
subluxations (spinal misalignments causing nervous system
interference) and/or structural deformities requiring correction.
When it is determined that chiropractic care is necessary our
patients are placed on Individualized Treatment Programs.
Our office uses a full compliment of services to treat a patient’s
condition and the underlying mechanical dysfunction of the joints,
and their effects on the nervous system. When restricted movement is
experienced Dr. Carpenter adjusts joints and the spine to improve
mobility and relieve pain by restoring normal function to the
patient's spine and body.
Individualized Treatment Programs can also include services
such as muscle stimulation, massage, trigger point therapy and
ultrasound as well as information about exercise and rehabilitation,
creating a healthier lifestyle, workplace changes, and increasing
the overall quality of your health. |
